Cub Scout Pack 51, chartered through Three Fires Council, has a mission to encourage all boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best, no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge.

Register for Fishing at Lake Ellyn
Curious About Cub Scouts? Start at Lake Ellyn September 3rd
Pack 51's first event of the year is Build & Fish. Scouts build their own fishing pole, tie the hook, and fish at Lake Ellyn. It's a great opportunity to ask questions and meet the other Cub Scout families. All Forest Glen families are welcome, kindergarten and up. Nothing to bring, nothing to sign — just RSVP and show up.
Thursday, September 3 from 5:30–7:00 PM at the Lake Ellyn Boathouse (645 Lenox Rd).

Scouts walk the Forest Glen neighborhood collecting donated grocery bags, then deliver everything to the Glen House Food Pantry. Bring wagons and flashlights. Last year: nearly 1,000 lbs collected.

Scouts race their hand-built wooden cars down a 42-foot track. Pack 51 also hosts a joint Girl Scouts derby. Girl Scouts race at 4:30 PM; Cub Scouts at 7:00 PM.
